I thought players might like to know since it's been a few weeks since 1.0's release and we are still unable to update. Since opting not to hold "Griefmas" anymore now we wait until Bukkit updates itself along with the plugins we use in order to provide the best user experience.

Thanks Linden, I think that even though a fair amount of players understood the current situation it really helps for the staff to confirm the rumors, as well as of course informing other unknowing players of it.

Bukkit Status
As far as bugs go, it's under 100 unresolved. Yet if only we knew how much content they have or haven't explored yet. Getting closer.
